Lots to do before Thanksgiving....!

 I can't believe November has gone so fast! Thanksgiving is almost upon us! Coming into town for Thanksgiving to visit family or friends? Not enough room to stay with your relatives? The holidays are almost here and so is the craziness....

As we approach the holiday season, we often find ourselves pushed around in the hustle and bustle of everything that's going on. This being said there are some wonderful events happening in town this week that you may want to squeeze into your busy schedule. Primarily, the "It's a Wonderful Life" holiday festival and parade is coming up fast on November 20th! Don't miss Indiana's very own light up night up on Philly Street! Coming into town for the Trace Adkins concert this Friday? It's sure to be a crazy fun night and you'll most likely be exhausted by the end of it. Why not stay at Heritage? It's close enough to walk to and it's most definitely safer to stay in town overnight, than to risk an accident going home after such a wild night. There is all kinds of things happening in Indiana this coming weekend!! On Friday is Indiana's 3rd Annual Wine Walk! www.downtownindiana.org. Worried about the kids being bored this weekend? Friday is also Alvin and the Chipmunks Live on Stage at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex! Bring the kids out for a great start to the holiday season! It's getting colder....

It's getting colder around here, but not to worry! Indiana still has plenty of things happening to make it worth the visit, even if it's just for the weekend or an overnight stay. As we enter November, there are tons of performances at IUP to suit everyone's tastes. This week there is a guest artist recital by none other than the world renowned saxophone player, Otis Murphy Jr. on Thursday Nov. 5th at Gorell Hall in IUP's historical Sutton Hall. There is also Smicksburg Old Fashioned Country Christmas Open House November 6-8 www.smicksburg.net.  The 3rd Annual Wine Walk is also this Friday Nov. 6 in downtown Indiana!Come on out for a fun filled county weekend in Indiana and stay at Heritage to complete the perfect getaway weekend!
